Created for winter 2009-2010Created from a large bushel gourd, cleaned, carved and hand painted it houses a hand sculpted whimsical snowman and his friend the winter hare. A white artificial evergreen and frosted tree are visible in the background. The interior has been painted in Wedgewood blue and heavily sprinkled with German glass glitter. The exterior has been hand painted with a traditional snowman upon a gourd vine with a star filled sky. It sits upon a 10" wooden candlestick pedestal and wooden base. It has been adorned with white tissue festooning and hand made tag. It has been signed and dated by the artist. A 7 watt clip light added sparkle when light.
