Fasten your corsets and lace up your boots…
Put on your top hats and antique black suits…
Curl your mustache and iron your hair,
Don't dust off the spider webs,
why they add such a flair!

Creepy graveyards, and awesome black cats,
Grinning pumpkins and pointed witches hats.
Ghostly ghouls and spirited wee folk,
Halloween to us is certainly not a joke!
Whimsical wonder with nothing to fear,
Things that have been stewing & brewing
for almost a year.

Hope to see you there!

April Fool's Day

According to Wikipedia, "April Fools' Day is celebrated all around the world on the April 1 of every year. Sometimes referred to as All Fools' Day, April 1 is not a national holiday, but is widely recognized and celebrated as a day where many people play all kinds of jokes and foolishness. The day is marked by the commission of good humoured or funny jokes, hoaxes, and other practical jokes of varying sophistication on friends, family members, teachers, neighbors, work associates, etc."

Here to help celebrate I am sharing my Halloween Jester created in 2009. One of may favorite pieces that now is at home in a private collection.
He was is sculpted with air dry porcelain clay over an armature either of wire, and a dried gourd. Hand painted, sealed and finishing touches includes assorted fabrics and findings, festooning, and hand crafted accessories.

Let's hear it for Spring!
