Fall Show Schedule 2014

2014 SHOW SCHEDULE:
Sept 12-14: NWTF Ohio Chapter of Women in the Outdoors RETREAT
NWTF Women’s 3 Day Event is scheduled for the weekend of September 12-14 at Muskingham State Park in Carrollton, Ohio. Sign up to enjoy the camaraderie of fellow sportswomen and to learn, or improve, outdoor skills.
All women will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of classes, including ATV’ing, Basic and advanced handgun, shotgun and archery. Some of the ladies can get creative making Owl gourds and nature jewelry and more! In addition there are lessons in cooking, field dressing and first aid survival.

The evenings were spent on well deserved rest, great food and afterwards, night fishing, pontooning and card games were enjoyed, as well as the ever popular campfire.

Sept. 19-21 Thornville BACKWOODS FEST Visit Booth# 122 Mark your calendars for The 2014 Thornville Backwoods Fest. Over 300 vendors, more than 30 different kinds of food and 3 days of bluegrass music.

Happy, Happy, Happy…This one-of-a-kind sculptured rabbit measures 8.5” tall x 4” wide. He has been created from paper mache and air dry clay. Hand painted in acrylics, and mounted to a 3” wooden base. He is accented with a metal-base watch face and carries a miniature basket stuffed with glittered eggs.

*Please note that this piece is sealed with gloss polyurethane and is not weather resistant. I recommend cleaning it with a dry soft cloth.

All of my items are made in a smoke free home. Each is an original, hand-crafted, mixed-media creation that is signed and dated by myself. They are meant to have a whimsical look...celebrating the joy of folk art! You can check out my other OOAK figurines by following the facebook link below:

Here comes Peter Cottontail...

Easter Rabbit…This one-of-a-kind sculptured rabbit measures approx. 12” tall x 4” wide. He has been created from air dry clay over dried gourds. Hand painted in acrylics, and mounted to a 3” wooden base. He is accented with painted gourd egg, tissue festooning around his neck, sculpted and glittered top hat and carries a miniature basket stuffed with glittered eggs. All awhile he is perched on top of a large painted and glittered egg.

Sitting Rabbit…This one-of-a-kind sculptured rabbit measures approx. 6” tall x 4” wide. He has been created from air dry clay over dried gourds. He sits upon a refurbished child’s block, and is accented with fabric ruffle around his neck, and carries a miniature basket stuffed with glittered eggs.

Luck of the Irish…This one-of-a-kind, carved and sculpted pot of gold measures approx. 5” tall x 4” wide. It has been created from a dried cannonball gourd. A detailed hand-carved shamrock design adorned the sides and gold-tone metal coins are piled high on the top. Hand painted in acrylics, and mounted to a 3” wooden base. It sits upon a bed of polished river rocks and green moss.
