From Columbus - Take 23 North to the Sandusky Street/Williams Street exit. Turn left at the light onto Williams Street. Sandusky Street is the 3rd street. Park wherever available (parking is free on weekends). There is also parking at the Hayes Building on North Union Street, north of Central Avenue.

Spellbound Baubles

Ok, we all have those creative type friends that we feed ideas and bounce them back and forth. My BFF is all into jewelry, like what woman isn't? Well, she surprised me with jewelry making supplies, and handful of beads and an assorted set of pliers recently. A trip to the International Gem and Jewelry show and several hundred dollars, I am crafting Spellbound Baubles to go along with my Halloween goodies this year. I have Pandora-like lamp work beads, fused glass frogs and ears of corn. In addition to some way cool died turquoise skulls.

After two week-ends of sitting at my dining room table and making bracelets until my eyes were about to pop out of my head, I will be previewing the baubles for sale April 15.

These dazzling bead and charm bracelets were inspired by the Pandora and Troll bracelets but at a more affordable price!! Even better....they are Halloween themed to boot!

Each Pandora-style bracelet has gorgeous lamp work glass beads and fancy beads. The bracelet is a 7.5-inch long silver plate snake chain with a Pandora type clip lock clasp. You can add more of your own Pandora style beads to complete the set. There are 7 available.

Bracelets are $25.00 + $3.95 SH (Ohio residents please add 6.75% sales tax)

Each Chain bracelet has an assortment of gorgeous lamp work glass beads, died turquoise skulls, golden coins and fancy beads (will vary per bracelet). The average bracelet is a 7.5-inch long silver plate chain with a toggle lock clasp. Chain Bracelets can be made to fit .When ordering, just let me know the size you'd like and I will make one especially for you!

Bracelets are $35.00 + $3.95 SH (Ohio residents please add 6.75% sales tax)

Spellbound Baubles Skull necklaces are the perfect compliment to the bracelets. Silver plated chain necklaces are custom made with the same gorgeous lamp work glass beads, died turquoise skulls, golden coins and fancy beads. Each one is individually hand-crafted and available in 18"-24" with a toggle lock clasp. Please allow 4-6 weeks to be crafted.

Necklaces are $45.00 + $3.95 SH (Ohio residents please add 6.75% sales tax)

Butterflies and Broomsticks...

I have been spinning my wheels and dusting the cobwebs trying to come up with a theme for this year's product line. Lords knows I can go crazy designing a hundred different ways. This year I am attempting a couple of spring shows and even though there are die hard halloweeners out there, I just don't figure there will be a big market for witches in May. Plus all the witches I know head to the beach. lol! I guess you could call them "Sandwitches!"

So-o-o, it's all about making money and having fun, right?

To give you a hint of things to come I have settled on "Butterflies and Broomsticks" for my shows through August. I found these fabulous painted feather monrach butterflies. They reminded me of some fabulous Halloween Hags I had seen by Prim Dolly. Check out her blog at http://primdolly.blogspot.com/  I can't guarantee anything quite as spectacular as her art, but I always give my best.

An added bonus... they're orange of course! They will flutter their way into the fall line as well. Check back often to see pixs as things progress.

And you never know...a Sandwitch or too may make an appearance.

Easter O'ween Swap goes out to Carapace

Dut, dut, Tada....

Happy Easter O'ween!My little funny bunny is all ready for the big day regardless of the season. A black and white dutch bunny has been created and hand-sculpted from air dry porcelain. He is hand painted and sealed. His whiskers are natural horse hair from an old paint brush. He sports a lime green, glilttered top hat and matching mask. A lime green boa is around his neck as he holds a large gllittered Easter egg. At his feet you will find hand sculpted carrots, small glilttered eggs and a dried gourd JOL full of his Easter Hunt treasures. The entire scene is affixed to a hand-painted 6" wooden base - green base..of course. The piece is approx 8" tall x 6" wide.

I am currently accepting orders for Easter Rabbit sculptures thru March 31. Your choice of colored bunny and top hat, (without mask) and the JOL will be replaced with a gourd bastet. $48.00 includes shipping and handling (within the US). Contact me at lynlockwood@aol.com to place an order.

Sneak peek...Easter 'Oween Bunny Swap

What's a better way to spend a snowy week-end?..creating spooky bunnies for the
Easter 'Oween Bunny Swap. Did I say that I am a Swap Virgin? I am having all sorts of fun and I
re-e-eally hope my swap partner likes what I have prepared for her.

Since I was never very good at keeping secrets...here's a little sneak peek of things yet to come. I have to admit I was hoping to have it finished and in the mail by March 1, but my hectic "real work" schedule has had me hoppin!
Don't worry Carapace...he'll be dazzleing in green and headed your way in plenty of time for the big day!

Winter Welcome!

I had a client request a winter themed diorama that she could display throughout the winter.

Here is her creation.

the entire piece is approx 18" high by 30" dia. I have used a large dried gourd, cleaned inside and out. The interior is painted in sky blue and heavily glittered with German Glass Glitter. It sits upon a round painted wooden base.

I have hand pointed the outside with a coordinating snowman and of course a blue gourd vine. Inside it holds of hand sculpted snowman from airdry clay over a small coyote gourd. He carries a paper welcome sign, hand sculpted top at and is joined my hand sculpted red birds.

A white bottle brush tree and a hand glittered tree branch are in the back ground. It comes with a 7 watt clip light so it can be illuminated from within and is accented with vintage white garland, white tissue festooning and a decorative ribbon.
